This morning, newspapers op/eds that come down solidly against the chiropractic school appear in the Orlando Sentinel, the Palm Beach Post, and the Tampa Tribune. The wisdom of FSU's administration continuing to push this program when public opinion and the faculty are so strongly opposed to it is increasingly questionable. Of particular interest, the Tampa Tribune editorial reports that Tom Lee, the incoming President of the Florida Senate, will not tolerate bullying of universities and faculty by state legislators. At least someone in the Florida Legislature is speaking sense. This gives the Board of Governors the cover it needs to reject the plan, if FSU's administration and the FSU BOT fail to on their own.
Also, FSUblius has become aware of several excellent blogs that touch on the topic -- see the sidebar under "Other Links" for details. Rhosgobel is especially well informed on the topic.
Thanks for the compliment and link!
Since I write on a number of topics, I thought I should include direct links to my two posts on the FSU chiropractic school:

What happened to Warchant's "Florida State Academics" Thread? It's missing did you notice? I wonder who pulled it.
